Yuzhnoye State Design Office initiated a coordination council of Lviv region research and educational institutions, pursuing the goals of enhancing cooperation between Ukrainian hi-tech companies and establishing fruitful partner contacts for research and production. The council is taking place at Lviv State Aircraft Repair Plant (Lviv) on July 25-26th.

In recent years, Yuzhnoye has focused its efforts on broadening the research and production cooperation between Ukrainian hi-tech companies and institutions and applying results of this cooperation in the development of advanced space and defense technologies. Powerful research and manufacturing capabilities of Lviv region are not involved as fully as it might be for these goals, however.

At the council, Yuzhnoye State Design Office and Lviv region companies and institutions are going to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.

In addition, Yuzhnoye representatives will have bilateral meetings while visiting a number of companies and scientific and educational institutions in Lviv.
