☑ Please be reminded that Moon Village Association (MVA) formation was announced at the International Astronautical Congress in October 2017 in Adelaide (Australia). Yuzhnoye SDO joined the Association as an institutional member in 2018. Now Moon Village Association consists of about 150 members from more than 34 countries. The Association Headquarters is based in Vienna (Austria).
Relying on its long-term experience in development of various types of aerospace hardware and applying up-to-date technologies, Yuzhnoye SDO consistently implements multi-stage program of experimental and industrial lunar base development. Within the framework of conceptual design, Yuzhnoye SDO specialists modeled configuration of the base. Layout and infrastructure at various operation phases have been preliminary determined. Project life as well as main performance of the developed systems have been summarized: space transport system to ferry crew and cargos to the moon surface and back to the Earth, standard designs of lunar modules, Moon surface vehicles and etc.
