ORBITAL ATK APPRECIATION TO YUZHNOYE SDO FOR SUCCESSFUL JOINT ACTIVITY
In December 2016, the first phase of operations is completed on manufacture and designer’s supervision over ten kits of the Antares LV first stage hardware by Orbital ATK (USA) request within NASA program for commercial cargo delivery to the International Space Station.
The American partners appreciated in value Yuzhnoye SDO, SE PA YMZ and their subcontractors activities within the Antares program. Successful firing tests and successful launch of the modified Antares LV, performed in the expiring year of 2016, are eloquent demonstration of a high level of work done by the Ukrainian rocket specialists. Currently the second phase of operations is underway within the framework of cooperation with Orbital ATK, and Yuzhnoye newly-developed products will be ready to fly to space for the next few years.
