BUSINESS TRIP OF THE YUZHNOYE SDO MANAGEMENT TO THE WALLOPS FLIGHT FACILITY IN THE USA ON THE EVE OF THE ANTARES ROCKET LAUNCH
During the 70th International Astronautical Congress, held between October 21 and 25 in Washington, D.C., Yuzhnoye SDO delegation headed by Alexander Degtyarev, YSDO General Director, made the business trip to the Wallops Flight Facility (Virginia).
Ukrainian specialists visited assembly building and launch pad to check the pre-launch activities progress and make sure that Antares rocket is ready for the upcoming launch.
Be reminded that Antares Stage 1 Core was developed by Yuzhnoye SDO and manufactured by PA Yuzhmash in joint cooperation with Ukrainian enterprises Khartron-ARKOS (Kharkov), Kyivprilad (Kyiv), Khartron-YUKOM (Zaporozhye), CHEZARA, RAPID (Chernigov) etc.
Launch is scheduled for November 2, 2019 at 15:59 Kyiv time (09:59 EDT).
