Test firings are under way according to the program of preliminary testing of the Ukrainian 122 mm artillery missiles Taifun-1, developed in Yuzhnoye SDO for Grad multiple rocket launcher system.
On February 23, 2022, successful salvo launches of the artillery missiles, equipped with the flight warheads, took place.
Missiles were fired from the all-arms test facility Shyrokyi Lan in Nikolaev region, using the BM-21 combat vehicle under the technical supervision of Yuzhnoye SDO.
Test firings were successful; test goals for the new artillery missiles have been achieved.
