On August 1, Korolev Museum of Cosmonautics n Zhitomir was receiving visitors on the occasion of the 50^th anniversary from the day of museum foundation.

Yuzhnoye SDO delegation offered genuine congratulations to the museum employees and thanked the staff of this outstanding educational and cultural organization for its educational activities, popularization of the aerospace history and activity among the population and particularly young people. Yuzhnoye SDO officially expressed gratitude to the museum and presented with Yuzhnoye SDO Medal for Personal Contribution to Space Exploration.

Also on the occasion of the anniversary YSDO presented museum with two new exhibits – models of Zenit-2 and Antares rockets.

Following the ceremonial events, Yuzhnoye SDO delegation held the working meeting with Irina Dyachyuk, museum’s director and her colleagues, which covered a wide range of questions and pinpointed further cooperative moves.

Once again happy anniversary to the employees of Korolev Museum of Cosmonautics, which became the outstanding cultural space center of Ukraine, where the space exploration history is so vividly displayed.
