On 30 August, Yuzhnoye SDO conducted the second bench test phase of the Cyclon-4 third stage. At this time, there was something new.

During the first test phase, the stage actuating elements were operated by the special control console developed by Yuzhnoye SDO. In the process, the thrust vector control system (TVCS) operated from the oil feed support station.

During the second test phase, the third stage actuating elements were also operated by the same control console, but the thrust vector control system was run automatically by the LV autonomous integrated control system developed by RPI HARTRON-ARKOS. At the same time, TVCS was fed not from the oil feed support station, but from the RD861K engine turbopump assembly according to the design scheme.
