On December3,2015 at 04:04 Kiev time (01:04 local time), from Kourou launch site in French Guiana, Vega launch vehicle with European LISA Pathfinder spacecraft was  successfully launched.

Yuzhnoye SDO developed and Yuzhmash manufactured the RD-843 main engine for the upper (fourth) stage of this rocket

The reliable operation of Ukrainian RD-843 engine particularly contributed to the successful launch of the spacecraft.

The LISA Pathfinder spacecraft is a demonstrator interplanetary space probe intended to test the technology of measuring the gravitational waves in deep space predicted by the Einsteinian general theory of relativity.

The light-class Vega launch vehicle has been being launched from the Guiana Space Center since 2012. The LV was developed by ESA specialists to deliver to orbit the spacecraft with moderate mass. Vega is capable of injecting into low Earth orbit (depending on orbital parameters) the payloads with the mass from 300 to 1500 kg.

This launch became the sixth one in the history of Vega LV operation and the third one in 2015.
