FOUR EMPLOYEES OF YUZHNOYE SDO SELECTED CORRESPONDING MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF ASTRONAUTICS
We are glad to inform you that four more employees of Yuzhnoye SDO have been selected corresponding members of the International Academy of Astronautics:
– Konstantin Belousov, Chief Designer and Head of Spacecraft, Measuring Systems and Telecommunications;
– Dmitry Klimenko, Head of Strength, Loads and Dynamic Characteristics, Candidate of Engineering;
– Vladimir Konokh, Head of Liquid-Propellant Rocket Engines Automatic Actuators, Candidate of Engineering;
– Dmitry Pozdnyakov, Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Activity.

As a recap, International Academy of Astronautics is a public organization, which unites prominent scientists and engineers in the area of space research. Founded in 1960 at the initiative of Theodore von Karman, one of the important figures in the evolution of the aerodynamics and rocketry. It was recognized by the United Nations in 1996. Today IAA consists of more than 1162 experts of space sector from all over the world. Academy goal is to expand the frontiers of space and its peaceful use.
